Andreas Backhaus is a researcher at CEPS. He has obtained his PhD in Economics at LMU Munich, where he was a member of the Chair for Population Economics. His research papers examine the relationship between climate change and migration, the measurement of education in developing countries, as well as the historical determinants of human capital.
