Global Solutions Summit—How should migration be managed post-COVID?
As part of this year's Global Solutions Summit on May 27 and 28, the MEDAM project will organize several sessions on migration topics. Applications for registration is still open.

In a double session on cooperation with migrants' countries of origin (28 May 2021,16:15-16:45), Margaritis Schinas, Vice-President of the EU Commission, will discuss the reform of European asylum and migration policies with New York Times journalist Matina Stevis-Gridneff. Afterwards, Angeliki Dimitriadi, ELIAMEP; Asli Aydıntaşbaş, ECFR; and MEDAM researcher Martin Ruhs ,Migration Policy Centre, will discuss recent research on public attitudes toward the EU-Turkey agreement and its policy relevance.
In the session "Global Challenges to Migration after COVID-19" (May 27, 2021, 15:00-15:30), Emma Bonino, T20 Task Force 10 - Migration; Ottilia Anna Maunganidze, Institute for Security Studies; and moderator Asli Selin Okyay, Istituto Affari Internazionali, will discuss migration and global governance in a post-COVID context.
