Conference
13th Migration and Development Conference
24 - 25
Sep
2020
The 13th Annual Migration and Development Conference will bring together leading researchers and policymakers to present and discuss their work on the economics of international mobility and its linkages to development. While both economic and forced migration have been dominating headlines and policy agendas around the world over the last decade, the COVID-19 pandemic has created even greater urgency to shed light on these debates. Since its inauguration, the conference series has been jointly sponsored by the French Development Agency (AFD) Research Department and the World Bank Development Research Group (DECRG) and organized by a scientific committee of leading academics.
